THIS IS THE TOUR……
Sit back & relax while your YST driver/tour guide shares the wonders of Yosemite with you. They will entertain and educate you on the history, geology, current events, flora and fauna of the ‘Crown Jewel of National Parks’ as well as answering all of your questions.
The morning begins with a stop at the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias located near the South Gate of Yosemite. You will have time to walk around these massive trees and enjoy the solitude that these silent sentinels have to offer.
On into Yosemite Valley, making ‘photo stops’ at scenic view points, we can see El Capitan, Bridalveil and Yosemite Falls, Sentinel Rock, Half Dome and more……. eventually making our way into the village area and Yosemite Lodge at the base of Yosemite Falls for lunch. Free time for eating and exploring will be spent here. A full service food court is located at the lodge or you can head over to the National Park Headquarters for a look at the displays and exhibits of park history.
Departing Yosemite Village and the Yosemite Valley we head up to the Glacier Point area at 7,214’ above sea level. From here you can see into Yosemite Valley, Little Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, Clouds Rest, Vernal and Nevada Falls and much, much more. You will have time to walk out to the point, where you can gaze down from over 7,000’ to the valley floor, where we toured and stopped for lunch earlier in the day.
Glacier Point is accessed by a seasonal road and opens & closes at the discretion of the National Park Service. If G. P. is not open at the time of your tour, additional time will be spent elsewhere. NO buses longer than 30 feet are allowed on the Glacier Point Road at any time.
Heading down from Glacier Point we return to your accommodations in the late afternoon.

Guests are on their own for lunch. Free time for lunch is at the Yosemite Lodge Food Court at the base of Yosemite Falls or the National Park Visitors Center in Yosemite Valley, where a full complement of food service is available. Both areas offer scenic views and souvenir shopping.
Yosemite Sightseeing Tours handles the driving, insuring park entry & fees along with parking so that you can relax & enjoy a wonderful Yosemite experience.
For private groups of any size, the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias* is available for a light nature walk either in the morning or late afternoon.
* Mariposa Grove is accessed by a seasonal road & opens and closes at the discretion of the National Park Service. If it is not accessible to you at the time of your tour, additional time will be spent elsewhere. 45 foot long motor coaches are not allowed in the Mariposa Grove at anytime.
